Oh yes Susann, an acapella version!
As some of you know, I've applied to be a delegate, representing my state and Barack at the 2008 DNC Convention in Denver. The caucus is tonight, and I'm getting myself ready by listening to speeches and songs. Wish me luck!
Information about Barackapella:
On Friday the 29th, leap day, some members of our a cappella group did a benefit show called Barackapella at our school, Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. This video was taken at that event.
We are a group of students who feel very strongly that Barack Obama is the best choice for President, and we decided to do something about it. “Yes We Can” truly inspired us, and we wanted to pass it on!
We learned this version of the song in about a week, and we plan on fine-tuning it and performing more, especially in preparation of the Oregon primary in May. You can read more about the event here: http://www.crisscrosshatch.com
